I was born in Morganton, NC, and spent most of my childhood in the small towns of the mountains of North Carolina. When I was 5 years old, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a tragic and generally lethal disease (at that time). By the grace of God, I was enrolled in a research study for the treatment which ultimately saved my life. During my treatment, I watched most of the children around me loose their battles with cancer. Since then I have lived my life carrying those losses with me, hoping to make my life and survival worth all those who did not survive. This clinic is the culmination of my dream to build something that will leave an indelible mark of love and support upon my community. I hope that you will all join me at the clinic and find it to be a place of love and compassion.
I was born in Spruce Pine, NC, and a native of Mitchell County. I am proud to call this place my home. Family is very important to me, and I am proud to say that I married my high school sweetheart and together we have a wonderful son who brings us so much joy.
Professionally, I have dedicated 13 years of my life to the medical field, where I have had the privilege of helping people and making a positive impact in their lives. Additionally, I have spent 5 years in the animal medical field, combining my love for animals with my passion for helping others.
Outside of work, I enjoy being outdoors, painting, and cherishing quality time with my family. These activities bring me a sense of peace and happiness and help me maintain a healthy work-life balance.
It is truly rewarding to know that I can contribute to improving someone's life, even in a small way. Seeing someone smile or hearing them express their gratitude for my help, no matter how minor it may seem, fills my heart with joy.
I am from, and currently live in Burnsville, North Carolina where I married my best friend. As a young girl I had a dream of becoming a nurse. I am passionate about helping people, and I saw nursing as a way to make a difference in the lives of others. After graduating from nursing school, I went on to specialize in Emergency Nursing and Critical Care.
In addition to my work in Emergency Nursing, I also came to love the rewarding and gratifying field of Family Health. I am thankful for the opportunities I have been given to make a difference in my community and in the lives of those around me. Being a nurse is truly a labor of love, and I am grateful for the opportunity.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during our business hours.
